Damnit! This game is scheduled to be released about a week after Fable! I won't have enough for two $50 games within a week of each other.
Decisions, decisions...:(

After playing the demo...this game is pretty sweet. It's like Warcraft without all the macro management and it runs pretty well on my aging P3 system.:)
That demo is very fun. The camera did stutter a bit when I whent into the 'chase' mode, other than that the game rocks. Elephants are cool! :)
I was pretty disappointed with the demo. A tutorial and one very small canned scenario... total of about 15-20 minutes worth of content, with no replay value. And there was no sniff of the strategy portion of the game.
A limited multiplayer mode (one battle... 2 nations... 8-10 unit choices per side), or a couple more small battles would have been nice.
The game looks great.. don't get me wrong there. But I thought the demo was very disappointing.
coming down now. :D
runs great at 800x600 :D
on a 64-3200!? ***!?
LOL- Not only does sharky attach advertising links to our posts but now W T F is censored?
What a POS.
Oh, and I didn't see you had a GF2 GTS!? That's an unbelievable bottleneck, man!
haha Im still trying to find a good deal on a video card :D
I might go for a 5950/9800 or maybe 6800GT ot X800XT :p
This was a great demo that does leave you wanting the rest of the game. Try playing on the harder level settings for some real fun. If I could only keep the elephants from panicking I would dominate.
So true. I actually had one battle where the elephants behaved and I wiped the floor with the Romans... I only lost ~140 men.Quote:

Yeah, it's fun when they turn tail and trample your own guys. That tends to demoralize the troops a bit.
