Can I Do This?

thats way too many heater cores it'll do more bad than good by killing your flow rates. and you dont need 3 cores to remove all thatheat max shoudl be one single and on double if oyu wanted to do that. but if you were to do that i'd put a heater core after every block so it could remove heat from the water before it went to the next block. but you could just use one double heater core and it would handle it just fine. i shipped a fan contorller so you cna just get those 100+cfm fans for benching and turn off like 2 and run the other 2 at 7v when your just idling

Ok, what if I just put a NB block in the loop but kept 2 double heater cores?

By the way, just thought I'd let you know that I finally found a stable BIOS after my 7th try (Hellfire 6/19 Rev. 3) and right now I'm running F@H stable for about an hour at 230x11 1.8v with CPC off. I'm going to try to up the multiplier to 230x11.5 and see if I can get that stable.

lol...2 heatercores are going to provide all the cooling you'll want. You're running on an nforce2 board, don't even both with northbridge cooling.

If you're that concerned about cooling and flowrates, just buy a couple of thermochill HE 120.3s and an iwaki. that should fix you up pretty good.

And EXPENSIVE! What's so much greater about them than a regular Bonneville?

nothing. but if you're going to have a 36cm long slab of metal mounted on top of your pc, I'd rather have a shiny black one :)

So does it actually provide any cooling benifits over a regular Bonneville? I'm going to have them in my box and you won't be able to see them anyway. :)

well its the size of 3 heatercores but a bonneville is arleady pretty big so i think oyu sohuld just sitck with that one bonneville

One or two? I was planning on two for x2 the heat removal, and you said the Mag3 would have plenty of pressure to have good flow rates doing so, right?

you'd probably only gain 2 or 3 degrees with 2 heatercores most people just run with one double heater core for all 3 blocks

Only 2-3 degrees with a whole double heater core and x2 120mm fans that will be running full blast 24/7? :eek:

EDIT: By the way, just thought I'd let everyone know I'm running 240x10 with CPC ON and as soon as I can build my watercooling setup then I can get it somewhere around 260x11 or so. Something is wrong with my internal diode right now and I keeps shutting off if I go any higher because it keeps jumping up to like 80C, but I know that can't be right because my normal CPU temp is only 49C at 1.875.

have you tried 260 x 5 or something to see if you can actully do it

Well I just tried 260x10, but it didn't work. I think it could if I can figure out this problem ... comp shuts down because of the internal diode going haywire reporting 80C+ temps. Anyone know how I can disable it or something?

I've booted Windows up to 250x10.5 with CPC ON, but it's not stable. I think it could be if I upped the vCore, but I don't want to go 1.9v or above until I get watercooling.

watercooling should let you go up to 2.1v just fine or wel it did for me! i hope to get 245 fsb with 3.3v on a dfi board
