The Promedia 2.1's are definitely a solid choice.
I like how you have sweet speakers, a nice keyboard, a phatty monitor, but you put it on a POS desk with exposed plumbing in the back... the geek version of ghetto fabulous

Yeah, those Klipsch are bad a$$. I am still on the fence as to whether or not I will get the AL mx5021 or the Klipsch 2.1, but I am leaning more towards the Klipsch, as my local best buy has them for $150, with no waiting! Plus they are built a little better than the AL's... more solid and sturdy.
Oh, and I agree with neueziel about the DEW, that's why I drink some every day. Breakfast of champions (as I down my dew with one hand and type with the other).
Hehhe, i like my desk:(....Quote:

oh well,
the plumbing, well i live in the basement, so its all over, but those pipes are cold as crap, so i keep my monitors power supply on it:D.
I thought the Klipsch speaker covers were sonically transparent? - doubt that is the right term :p
If I recall, the Logitech speakers sound alot better w/o their covers, but there is no discernable difference when the Klipsch speakers were heard with or without the covers.
Doesnt really sound much different.
they don't make much of a difference.
