one time offer !!!!!
I will never understand all this love for golden eye...
Even if I did I think perfect dark would be a little more understandable, but I still never understood why people liked it so much. I know it is easy to pick up when people don't have computers to network, but... still.
This will be way cool if they are at a pretty low price point. I would hate a subscription service. I would rather pay for something and be done with it.
I'm all about Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Ah... to play that game on a console again...
:D
Slow Mode + High Explosives... you figure it out. ;)Quote:

No I don't think I every will. :p But I'm glad that others have found so much joy in the game...Quote:

the single player wasn't too spectacular...it was more fustrating than fun...with the respawning enemies...saving natalia while she takes her sweet time on the computer...the incredible accuracy by enemies and so on...the multiplayer is what the game is remembered for

I read a good article about playing games you feel nostalgic about. The best thing to do is never touch them again and keep the dream alive.
Games have changed, we have changed. Picking up a five year old title is in my opinion not a very good idea. You will be bothered by the silly grafix and it will never be as magical as when playing the original!
For instance when zelda OOT came out I played the game nonstop and loved every minute of it, IMHO still the best game ever made!
After I bought the wind waker (gave it away didn't like it) I played OOT masterquest. Just couldn't get into it anymore and alltough it was so long ago I could remember everything!
Keep the dream alive don't play those gems anymore. They are an amazing memory, keep it that way!!

^^^ I played Starcraft just yesterday. Warcraft 3 and CnC Generals I hardly touch. My roommate has been playing Fallout 2 and StarControl all week. Graphics doesn't make a game great, gameplay does.
DRAGON WARRIOR O-M-G!!!!!!!!!!!
wow dude, star control....havent heard that title in forever!!!Quote:

best ship of that game was the Ur-quai or whatever they are, the big green ship that did the "Launch fighters! Launch fighters! Launch fighters!" that ruled...
dude i have dragon warrior 1 for nintendo, i tried playing that game last year... i never realized how TEDIOUS it is to level up in that game. games like FF and such, their leveling up takes some time and all, but at least the monsters give comparative xp.Quote:
2630Goon DRAGON WARRIOR O-M-G!!!!!!!!!!!

I still loved the game. I got it free with renewing my Nintendo Power subscription :D
I'm sure that is how a lot of people came to play it in the first place.
