i just finished it a few days ago and was moderately content.... AI was spectacular but the performance issues ruined the experience for me, also those ghouls at the end were just plain annoying, not scary/difficult.... now im playing Civ4.... god FEAR is complete crap compared to Civ4
Civ4 is that good huh? Looks like two completely different types of games.
You can't really compare FEAR and Civ IV though, unless you're talking about pure addictiveness, which of course no game can compete with Civ in that area.Quote:

The thing is this. Civ is like heroin that is injected into ones' blood intravenously..
It WILL grab you around your (proverbial and literal) balls and it will not let them go.
Thats just how Civ games are made....
Master of Orion 2 was/is way more addictive than any given Civ game. i don't even want to think about how many hours of my life i spent on MOO2.Quote:

Meh...I got MOO 2 and Civ 2 at the same time (Christmas of '96). Actually started playing MOO first, and it had its positives for sure, but I felt Civ 2 exceeded it in every way, shape, and form. Although I did really love Moo 2 (and the original MOO, which I played to death on my old 386), but there's just something undeniably appealing about leading a human civilization through time. AC was excellent. Better AI and diplomacy than Civ II. I could never really get into it as much though because of the fictional units and everything.Quote:
