Nice thing about previews is that you can fire it up and decide for yourself. There are alot that don't like it, but still many that do.
Everyone seemed to love CoH, but when I played the preview I decided it wasn't for me. Never bought it.
I wish I got into the EQ 2 beta cause if I did, I wouldn't have wasted the buckos on it. On the other hand, I got into the WoW beta, then played for about 5 months afterward.
So what would you guys compare D&D to after playing beta? Is it worth the buy or just another MMO?
There's not much to compare it to. Its not like other mmo's. There's no way to really "grind it out" so to speak...you can't just find a spot where mobs spawn and camp it and xp all day. This is a quest driven game. I suppose it'd be alright for someone and a few of their buddies to hop on now and then and do quests. Having been in the closed beta now for a couple months, I don't think I'll get it, unless I hear that they've increased the content.

Ouch, I just saw that the release price is going to be 60 bucks! Lol, I doubt they will have many subscribers.
I didn't like it....though I'm glad I tried it so I can scratch it from personal consideration. Yes it is quest driven and a bit contrived IMO. Then again alot of the D&D devotees like it....it just isn't the immersive fantasy world that I'm looking for.
Anyone preorder and get in on the headstart?
