Weird that this game would come out first when the previous McGee games haven't even made a peep since the announcements (e.g. Wizard of Oz)

Mcgee had a hard time trying to sell the concept as a game and deciede rather to sell it as a movie idea first. If you search the web, you'll find some interviews he did about this.

when i heard 'american mcgee' i expected something a bit...darker...

I dont like that cartoon looking graphics. It just irks me.

I really enjoyed warped elements of Alice and have been looking forward to a new game from McGee for a while.

Love the way they've done the characters, seems to fit the character of this new game very well :)
