there's nothing to DOA execpt bouncy boobs and girls.

why not just make it a porn straight up. at least with porn we won't be complaining about any plot lines.

IMO bad special effects and crappy storylines were just the symptoms; The disease was that most of the time they were just not taken seriously. Superman, for instance, was pretty good (though I can't stand that scene where he and Lois are flying and you can hear her thoughts), and that came way before stinkers like Street Fighter and Double Dragon. I think more comic book and video game movies now are getting the "serious" treatment, though that's not to say there aren't still a ton of crappy ones.
