New BF2 patch to fix a patch... 1.21

Really the guns aren't that better, the only exception being the FN2000 but only because it gives you flashbangs. The gun itself isn't better than an M16 or AK. For the most part they just give you a different option. Like giving a engineer a SMG instead of a Shotgun. Or the Anti-tank a larger clip for it's SMG, but less damage.

So....have they announced a patch for this patch yet? I give them 2 weeks.

In all honesty I would wait till they acknowledge that Special forces has a major bug. I dont know what exactly it is but it causes you to crash on 2 of the 8 or so maps. This has caused a huge population drop of special forces servers. Wait till they patch it up. If you are buying it for the guns, its a toss up. If you think that $30 is worth access to 7 new guns, then go ahead. Thats what I did.

I think the expansion was worth $30. A bunch of new weapons. They are not necessarily better but the variety is nice. A few good maps.

Just be aware, if your current hardware can barely run BF2, dont bother with SF. It is even harder on your system.

no, they all were so inspired that they quit and joined the military, I know thats what I wanted to do after playing it and AA.


I imagine lots still play, its not like there have been any new FPS lately with a lot of online playing appeal.
