I love the social aspect of wow. Most people who aren't in good guilds hate it. EVE also looks incredible. If I wasn't playing WoW< I'd be playing EVE.
The game is rediculously open-ended, you can do almost anything you want in it. Hell, starting soon player-run corporations (guilds) will be able to control entire sectors!Quote:

FFXI was good idea, but not having American servers and being thrown in with Asians who were already playing for a year pretty much destroyed it for me. That, and having a permagroup or being a white mage was the only way to find groups without getting a headache. XP went to **** if your group wasn't all around the same level. I do admit though, the class armor and the minor details of the games are highly above average. I'd only rate WoW ahead of it in terms of art direction. But that's my opinion of course. EQ2 is way too plastic for my liking.
