I hear ya... I've been watching Prison Break and 2nd season of The 4400 on it thus far and very very happy with it!! :D
that looks pretty sweet, wish I had to dough to blow on it.
I ran into a problem with it today. I downloaded some divx and it wouldnt play it. It would do the stop / go viewing. So I assume it just didnt like the compression or something. Plays fine on my PC.
You could try reencoding it with Dr. Divx OSS, or the converter that comes with the DIVX Create Bundle. Or if you really know your stuff, Virtualdub it.Quote:

I rather stay away from the crap software that is bundled with the cowon.. Utter crap...
I prefer to drag/drop onto the drive itself... Plus the resizing takes a long butt time.
It's not that bad of a crap... really. And if you have a powerful PC like you do, it shouldn't take that long. I use "Cowon A2 1 Mbps" setting. :)Quote:

I'm gonna get it later tonight... :D
EDIT: nothing much to gloat over... mainly added Hebrew support. :p
Cool...
When I encode a video from Divx using the cowon software it takes about 1/2 as long as whatever i am encoding. So a 2 hour movie will take me 1 hour to encode. No way am I waiting that long :)
welcome to the world of video encoding, now please take a seat it will be awhile. lol
I usually leave it running before I go to sleep or something...Quote:

This thing looks sweet but is it worth it? There is no removable battery so what happens in a year or so after it starts deminishing?
I want this or the archos av500 or av700
To me, it is worth it. This shouldn't run into the battery memory issues...Quote:
