Hi:
Ordered the Samsung 215 TW last night and am really looking forward to receiving it. After all the help here, and studying, I think that is the best one for me. Will let you know in a few days.

I found a couple programs yesterday, but upon further investigation it looks like it is a dead pixel because it is white. apparently White/black=dead Colors=stuckQuote:

I know things are easy to return at Costco but the bummer is I have to reorder it and have another shipped. Would be nice to just walk in and exchange it.Quote:

The screen is super bright and I had to mess around and turn down a few things. The thing that seemed to look most natural is when I turned down the gamma in my nvidia drivers.
The viewing angle is a problem because I use my computer as a TV in my room and when I lay down to watch something it doesn't look very good. I'm not concerned about this because I planned on getting a adjustable stand so I can just point it where I'll be.
I loaded up GuildWars real quick to check it out in wide screen and it was just amazing.
So as far as picture quality goes while working with it and my very brief gaming all looked nice, but watching videos I'm not sure yet. I was watching recorded videos and I never noticed them looking that before. I think maybe the compression isn't as good as I thought on them or it's the screen. I'm going to pop some DVDs in tonight to check.
