i find it sad and humorous at the same time that they could have had a goldmine with the duke franchise, and they just squandered it.

Wooohoooo! It's about time!
Runs and hides.
I'm beginning to wonder if the game ever existed in the first place... maybe all the screenshots and that one video were just pre-rendered. Screw DNF, gimme another Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project :D
Duke Nukem 3D was the first First Person Shooter I ever played. I bought the N64 with that star wars game (where you fly a snow speed in the first level) brand new, $400. Then a couple months later I bought duke nukem from a pawn shop.
Jesus, this is turning into Gun's N Rose's chinese democracy. 10 years, a couple million later...still waiting
I actually just reinstalled that yesterday. That game is excellent. I think I got it for like $5 from GoGamer, just threw it in with some other game, then I ended up getting a free copy of it with some hardware I bought. It was done really well.Quote:

This game has become legendary. lol
I've noticed that every DNF thread turns into a post count thread....
+1!
Has anyone noticed that the abbreviation for Duke Nukem Forever, DNF, is also the same as the one for 'Did Not Finish'.
I just thought I'd point that out...who am I trying to fool? I'm just spamming.
Which will come out first....Duke Nukem Never, or S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - shadows of a game ? :D :p
ITS A RACE TO THE STARTING LINE!!!Quote:

Ya, and STALKER looked badass too.... 3 years ago.
Ahh who could forget BUILD and its 200+ page manual. As long as you didn't try putting more than one room over another, or flood the map with..ahem.. sprites, or try to do a half a million other scenarios, it worked over 50% of the time!Quote:
