ITs low budget but not low like Red Dwarf. It's actually very well made and it's serious but has funny moments in it. My favorite character was Jayne Cobb but in the Movie I liked River Tam the best. The movie is very good, give it a rent.

Mal and Kaylee are the best characters on the show. I am so angry at Fox for not even giving it a chance!

He might have been refering to Commander (Admiral) Cain, who was a kickass char in the original BSG and a major ***** in the new BSG.

Actually watched the movie last week, which BTW is called Serenity. And yes it is funny, has some great dialogue.

I haven't seen too much of it, and this is kind of why. Every time I try to start watching it, it just doesn't hold my interest at all.

When I worked at a movie theatre someone had lent my coworker a DVD of Firefly... I read the box to it and didn't seem that interested. Which is weird for me because I love scifi deep down both on screen and in books (Arthur Clarke is my favorite author and his Rama series was THE BEST series EVER... after the 2001 series... :D)

Maybe I'll take a look at this one again!

Since SG-1 ended on Sci-Fi (OH PRAISE THE LORD), they should pick up Firefly and stick it in the gaping hole where SG-1 was.

I don't see it. Sure Firefly/Serenity was good, but they really didn't have a chance to develope the galaxy they were trying to create. Half a TV season, a small comicbook run, and one movie is all they have. As much as cowboys in space is a fun idea I find it hard to imagine an entire MMO dedicated to it. Also the Serenity didn't have any weapons so the game would be like a space trader without the action. "Oh Purplebellies at 3 oclock... let's run away!" "Hey, Reavers about to board our ship!... let's run away!" "Grungy looking space pirates with half shaved beards threating us menancingly... lets.... *boom*"

I agree 100%. Serenity didn't have any guns, forgot about that.

There aren't a whole lot of recognizable characters just humans, even reevers are humans. This would make a better shooter than a MMO.

But yeah I couldn't care less about the game but I did love all 13 episodes and the movie. These are things that I have rewatch :D and will watch again someday.

yeah, I've seen each episode about 20 times, and the movie about 10. It's truely great and I was extremely disappointed when it got cancelled. But that doesn't mean it's going to be a good videogame. Anyone know if Joss Whedon is working on this?
