Multi-threaded Softwares and Games List

Avidemux - Great oss transcoder (from http://fixounet.free.fr/avidemux/)

Added Bioshock to the list! :)

Stranglehold and Medal of Honor Airbourne are both multithreaded

I was running Spybots 1.5.1 just today... and noticed that 60% of my dual-core X2 were being used at most times!! :D So added that...

there's an article at anandtech about multi core performance w/ UT3 showing a nice performance gain for quad core over dual, and huge gains from dual over single core :)

I know... I'm just trying not to get ahead of myself... this list applies to currently released softwares and games only. :)

The latest version of dbPoweramp (v12) is multithreaded and can encode several tracks simutaneously using multiple cores.

no new games/softwares to be added??

I know quake 3 is multithread if you use the r_smp "1" command and I believe that goes for any other games that use the quake 3 engine (Cod, JK2, RTCW etc etc)

not that you would even need half a modern core to run quake3 :o
