To help prevent the pump from vibrating against the case :|
Ahh, fair enough.
I picked up some Petra's Gel for mine. Basically it's a big chunk of unfinished silicone. Pretty nice at absorbing the vibrations.
Those EK blocks kick the llamas ***.... I love those things!
