Surprised nobody's mentioned the Facebook integration yet. If you let SC2 log into your Facebook account, it will search through all of your contacts and tell you who has a Battle.net account, prompting you to add friends. Pretty cool.

Sorry it sounds like a I'm trolling, but i'm honestly interested on how this works and I'm just offering my opinion. I'f I'm right or wrong on anything, please feel free to clarify.
As for my position with SC2 I've already stated that int he SC2 thread. you can go there to read it. Lets try no to bog this thread down with any SC2 arguments.
Dude. Epic. That is one of my favorite series! Currently on Xenocide just about finished with it :D btw we need your number to add you.
I don't see the problem with realID...a character name and number works just fine. I don't really plan on making another character outside of playing the campaign again so no problem there either. I trust the people that I will give my name to, but that is not even necessary as the character name and code works perfect.. Will check the facebook thing and let you know.
Noob question - where do I find the "code" for my character name?
I did not know about the real ID thing when I made my account, so my account has my real name. I don't want peeps to see my real name, and I don't have facebook. That's how I roll. I find it odd that you have to sign up for parental controls, receive an email, follow link in email, and only then you will be presented the option to turn off real ID off.
People will not see your real name unless you add them (or they add you) via email address. With RealID enabled you still have the ability to add friends via in-game name+code and you will see them and they will see you by that name. There is no reason to disable the feature unless you don't want anyone to add you by email.
i went ahead and created a account for dIII when it finaaalllllyyyyy comes out, i made a silly name up because i don't really want my real name out there for everyone to have, so thats a easy option for everyone else in a pickle over the all or nothing id
I'm stuck with an incredibly stupid name for Starcraft II. I didn't know the campaign name that it has you entire will be your battle.net name. I put in a retarded name just to play the campaign and now I'm stuck with Pluffernuter! Zomg!!
Anyone down for a Free for All match tonight? No teams every man for himself.
