I don't know where you see those. I only see the iconia near that price at it is 320. The galaxy is 360+.

IMO it is always good to wait a month or two after the CES to allow new products to fill the sales channel.
That way one can choose between the more expensive latest and greatest new stuff or the just obsoleted and clearance priced not quite the latest and greatest stuff.
I've owned the (first) Asus Transformer for about 6 months now... and between my kids and myself, it has been very good to us...
eReader, movie player, games, and Internet browsing... I got mine for $400 (16GB) so I don't feel too bad...
isnt all tech just a waiting game? ;)
most tablets will get ics anyways. stick with the ones that you know for sure will get it natively.
it looks like the prices went up recently...thats too bad. have you checked craigslist? the iconia for $320 is still a pretty good price.
if you wanna hold out, it may not be such a bad idea. once all the next gen stuff starts to hit, the current gen stuff will go down in price. a dual core, tegra 2 based tablet is still going to be plenty but any basic stuff, especially with ics. choice is yours man.
Thanks, I'm almost thinking just pick up a Touchpad for ~150. I can find those from time to time. People are saying it is pretty fast with ICS beta. With the user base, I'm sure they will have a proper community release of ICS. Either that or wait a bit. I'm in no rush.
