While SSD prices are falling, they're still not even remotely close to hard drive prices to be usable for large storage. At the moment hard drive prices are recovering here but still not reached their pre-flood prices while SSD's are the cheapest they've ever been, despite that a 2TB hard drive is still less than a 128GB SSD.
I rip my blu-rays/DVDs for my phone and other media devices which lack optical drives, once I've ripped it may as well keep it for the next time I want to watch it as blu-rays take some time to rip.
Primarily the output from my digital cameras, I save both raw and jpeg as well as AVCHD and renders which needs over a TB and keeps growing. I also have a library of applications, software isos (I have a hard drive which appears as a virtual optical drive with the selected iso) and PC image backups.
