Who's running their PC 133 RAM at 150 mhz?

Well my friend's 128MB Crucial PC133 CAS 2 SDRAM can't do 149-150MHz CAS2 on my PC.

I don't think Crucial's good for overclocking, I heartily recommend Corsair. Corsair also has some PC150 on the market.

Before my recent *ahem* accident with my P3, it was on a 133 fsb, with my ram set to 3/4 (p3v4x) which I *believe* is about 166, at cas 2-3-2. Not bad, and I never really pushed it. I don't know what my ram will do at perfect cas 2 (2-2-2)

Just replaced my Mushkin Rev. 2 with Memman's Mosel Vitelic 7ns (same thing only 256MB sticks). I'll work with it a little and see what I can get but so far 155MHz 2-2-2 5/7 seems to be stable.

Aren't they the same?

Oh unless you mean replacing 128's with 256's. 1 256 does seem to have the slightest of edges over 2 128's in the Sandra memory test.

Yes, they are the same 7ns **Drool** chips. BTW, I replaced 2-128 Mushkin with 2-256 Memman. I'm officially maxed out at 512MB. It's been about 3 hours but I haven't done much but surf and take a benchmark or two. (New Sandra2001se memory bench 459/541 at current speed in sig.) https://www.sharkyforums.com/images/.../2005/08/2.gif

Ok, so I bought cheap PNY memory, and its PC133, but I did check the chips first ( Infineon ), and it was CAS2 and it will AND does run 150 MHz. https://www.sharkyforums.com/images/.../2005/08/2.gif Sandra rates it just behind the 1 GHz Athlon and way ahead of the P3 1000. Not bad for a lowly P3 667. https://www.sharkyforums.com/images/.../2005/06/5.gif

Benches run on Sandra2001se with settings as follows: 2-2-2, 155MHz, Mushkin @ 7/9, Memman @ 5/7 (Mushkin has never been able to hold 5/7 beyond 125MHz)

I´m using both Hyundai and Infinion. Both are 128mb banks. Hyundai wont do 150 but Infinion does on 2-2-2. I heard very good story´s about Infinion. And I aint complaining

Thanks! That looks about right. However, I wonder if the extra scores comes from more total memory or the superior efficiency of the 256 sticks?

Yeah you see I go 549/634 at 155 2-2-2. And that's with an Intel cpu! I have actually hit 560/615 but I choose to showcase the 549/634 as it is the greatest total figure. Theoretically when my 256 gets here I might expect 570/650's?

My pc133 micron cas3 runs swell @ 157mhz... to bad i cant get my fsb to take advantage of that.
Max i can do is 149-154
