You don't have to. Search for something like "emacs key command combos" or something like that and print out the two sheets that result. I don't think not being able to remember the commands is a good reason for not using it.Quote:

You could always download the sun SDK and use any text editor to write the code and do command line compile.

My box said "WindowsME/2000 or better" so I installed Linux.
That would be the easy way to do things, but who wants to do that? BobTheSlob was looking for an IDE that uses Java. The only problem with your solution is that you have to use a shell to compile the program. With the IDE, all you have to do is click and a neat little window will show up with all your errors.Quote:
