On Planetunreal.com they had n interview about the new unreal tech, and they said that the scenes shown in the video were rendered with a GF256SDR at 25 fps with a polycount of more than 100000 triangles.
They also told Q/A Pete that performance shall increase a lot, cause the code is still alpha. I hope that's true.
It's definetly a good step to get away from Glide ( it's a good API but...I changed my V3 to a GTS, you know.)
Hopefully this stuff is implemented in Unreal2!

Yeah, I am glad they are getting away from Glide also. I believe I read where they signed or partnered up with NVIDIA or something along that line. Anyone know more about that?Quote:
