Blizzard, your rhetoric is rather child like. yes i have played UT online for a few hours, no i didn't like it. Assault is a pretty cool concept, but it wasn't enough to keep me interested, and dominaion? please, glorified deathmatch. CTF is great, it is my favorite style of gameplay, but like i said, i find Q3 better for that. Regardless, your opinion is your opinion, but leave it at that, it is pointless to banter over the fact that you find UT better while I find Q3 better. We will get no where because i am not going to change your opinion, nor are you going to change mine. Additionally, no where in my post was there any sort of bash on UT so be respectful and don't bash Q3.
I´ve not been playing Quake III for a long time, since my computer is too slow to run it (but that will change in the near future). However, my computer is able to play UT with my old Voodoo 2 graphic card. My current conclusion is: both games are extremely cool. I don´t believe you can judge these two games as better. It is purely based on taste on certain factors that makes the games more enjoyable than the other. Everyone has different tastes and therefore you can´t brand a game as "better". Personally, I love Quake III with it´s adrenaline deathmatch and eye candy graphics. It´s a really cool game. Despite this, I believe that Unreal Tournament is just as cool in some ways, despite that Quake III parhaps got a more complex graphic system. Both games are worthy when it comes to the FPS genre. It´s as simple as that.
