first one has a [ then size =1 then ]. Then you write everything , then [/size then ].
I didn't see any tag, just a blank space :confused:

You can stick the "size=1" tag at the top of your signature text box, and the "/size" tag at the bottom. It'll cover the whole signature.
Well I wasn't trying to start no major debate but some folks sigs where getting huge. I think a 7 line max would be good. Hell I really like muisejt Sig. "If your sig is longer than your post then type more." Thats to the point huh.. :cool:

Take out the spaces, of course. The different colors are in the color pulldown in Edit and Reply windows (doesn't show in Signature Edit windows), and are one too many to list here :p

Ash was referring you to the edit/reply windows for the list of colors. You need to put the code he mentioned into your sig with the chosen color. In other words, hit reply and look at the COLOR drop-down list. If you like "dark-blue" then go edit your sig so it looks something like this:Quote:

My signature is simply there so that I don't have to keep typing or copying and pasting it when I have a problem, or join a computer forum. It also helps with temperature/benchmark comparisons et al.

Signatures have a purpose. Too many people here truncate their (often misspelled) words already (e.g.: lol, rofl). This forum is here to help people. Would novices know that 'AXP1800+' is the same as an AMD Athlon XP 1800+? Perhaps, perhaps not. Keeping things clear is a positive, not negative thing.
However, picture signatures are a curse on 56K users!

First everyone has sigs that are getting longer and longer, then all of a sudden everyone goe's to the other extream and either dumps their specs totally or adds a link.
Well, I'm going to be uncool, un 133t or whatever the heck it is and keep my specs in my sig just the way they are.
There is a thing called overkill you know? Everything in moderation.

Bingo, you are right on it there. A lot of people have gone from good system specs to nothing but this is not about having spec's in your sig. It's about have a 50 line sig - specs or not. For the most part nearly everyone had specs and nearly everyone had a sig that was well within acceptable limits. Suddenly almost everyone has taken this thread out of context and just removed all the specs completely.Quote:
