Holy thread hijacking, Batman!
I do my best, mon ami. Naturally with the increased temperatures here in the pole I'm getting a little brain fried, but I feel my fans must come first (I've got some order from Ikea as well!) so I continue with my wittiness, knowing full well that it may be the last wise crack I ever make.Quote:

I love it!

If only SWW, Galen, AMD forever and many others would visit...it'd be just like my long lost home.
This thread sure does bring back memories...though I must say, that little penguin's audacity is rather surprising.
I propose a non-violent sit-in this thread.
Snacks will be provided
...now if only we had some flames with which to roast this spam I could put my gourmet cheffin skills to use...
That girl didn't bother me before. But now its getting to me and i am not a complainer. I've never seen any add on for such a long time. I realize they have to advertise but put something different on. I'm in the middle of a amd xp1600 build. BELIEVE me when i tell you this. I lost interest in building any amd because of this ad their sticking us with. I swear to you i'm thinking about throwing the 1600 and mobo in the river.
step 1: go to your nereast computer software dealer (be it on the internet or out in the real world)
step 2: search for norton internet security 2003
step 3: pick nose
step 4: purchase norton internet security 2003 from desired retailer
step 5: install norton internet security 2003 on computer (if possible)
step 6: turn on ad-blocking in the settings of norton internet security
step 7: dance around/weep with joy at fact that adverts banners are no more
step 8: give biscuitbandit lots of money
The trouble with proxy software like Norton and Ad Aware is that many secure websites will not operate through a proxy. Several of the financial websites I use detect most proxies and refuse to authenticate until the proxies are removed. The inconvenience of installing/uninstalling proxy software each day just isn't worth the effort. I stick with Boogs solution. ;)Quote:

I love not seeing that lady's face anymore :)
True, there are many SSL sites that don't really care enough about security to restrict proxy software. That's because the stuff being secured is on the client side where the proxy is. The sites that restrict proxies are generally where the stuff being secured is on the server side. they don't want an unknown proxy program having access to the secure data.
Nice method. I like Zonealarm's adblocking though. ;)
You should have put pictures of your dodge ram up Boogy Man (which would be much nicer on the eyes than post-it notes). ;)
It is now safe to take your Post-it-Notes off Boogs ;)
ITS GONE...commence the mass boozed celebration period.
This was the biggest waste of bandwith in this forum, and shows that post count is power. For real, if someone posted it that was just a normal member, it would probably get rolleyed or locked, cause this belongs in the O-T Forums, which don't exist.
boo
Wurm, you know how long I have been here, maybe it's just me, but I suggest you close this thread. I see no more reason for any post to be in this thread. Waste of space, and me, I don't even have to make another post, !Quote:

If you don't want to have a little fun Icefox, be my guest, but don't troll a topic that people are enjoying. And wth does post count have to do with anything, especially in a forum that doesn't add to your total?
And HALLEJULIA and ding dong, the AMD witch is dead!!
Time for a new sig eh? ;)Quote:

And Icefox you would that I destroy all rememnants of fun left here?
I think not.
Boogs made a funny topic about something that was bothering ALOT of us. So 1) that makes it on topic and 2) it was funny and humour is rare around here with all the fanboys and immature brats fighting over "ATI vs Nvidia" "AMD vs Intel" "GC vs X-Box vs PS2" so why in heavens name should it be closed? Because in your opinion its worthless? Once again I say, I think not.
You know i visit this site all throughout the day basically everyday for the past 5 or 6 months. Now not once did i even notice there were ad banners on the side and top of the forums. I don't even know what ad's your talking about. But now i notice the banners everytime i log on. Thanks a lot you jerks :p :D
I'm still leaving the side blocked just in case they decide to put it back up!:p
