Help with P4C800 Deluxe

Well,
Maybe there is a problem with the connector itself on the mobo?
What about RMA for it? Good enough reason to get a new mobo, if you ask me.
BTW, what cooling solution do you recommend for the P4 HT technology?
I have a AMD system at home with a Vantech cooler and a fan that I forgot the model, but the cooler itself is made of copper and aluminum and the fan is magnetic bearing from Vantech. It also has an unusual size (72mm's). It serves me pretty good as I never go above 33 degrees celsius.

no, i dont think they have a toll-free number, but if you have the money for a brand new p4c system, i think you can afford 2 bones to talk to asus. thier support staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpfull. i have never had to wait more than a minute or two either. call them dude, you wont be sorry.

The stock cooler will work just fine up to moderate OCing. For extreme air OC, the ThermalRight SLK-900 and the Vantec Tornado 92x35mm fan (best get a Nexus fan controller to quiet that beast when not doing full-tilt OCing :D ) :cool:

Is this Vantec fan the special TMD bearing fan?
The one I have at home, gives quite an air flow and is indeed very quite...

119cfm from my experience is hefty for a 92X38mm fan... I think you are running at about 56dB, which is quite loud...!
Can you hear anything else when your PC is running??
I once had a Nidec fan like this at home moving air out of the case but that was plain crazy, because it was simply too loud!!
