Hey guys, going OT here, but I would like to say that I got my first look at the 9800XT today, I like it!;) I held it in my loving arms, caressed it and whispered sweet nothing at it, gotta take a cold shower a lil later. Pathetic ain't it, getting so worked up over a gfx card.:( I was reaching for my CC when my friend had to physically, and with some resistance from me I might add:o , he got me outta the shop and gave me a well-deserved smack at the back of my head.:o It was a PC 9800XT and it was sweet! I so wanted it! I'd better not go there by myself, I'd surely buy it!:D :D
Just keep telling yourself it is nothing more then a overclocked 9800pro and you already have one of them. :D Well, it does have one thing the 9800pro don`t it measures, the temps of the video card and slows it down when it gets too hot. :)Quote:

And that bada$$ cooler! :eek: I want it, gonna have dreams about it. BTW, I bought the Logitech MX310 optical mouse and I like it too - see, not always gfx cards!:p . I find it smoother than my MS Optical Intellimouse (I think) - gave it to my nephew, sold him my Creative 5300 5.1 speakers real cheap too.:DQuote:

ROFLMAO! :D Nope, it wasn't at Best Buy, though I wish to god there were Best Buys in my neck of the wood, it was at a computer retail shop. ;) Still, it was the best coupla minutes of my life - Yep, pathetic.....I know.:o But dangit, it look so cool, would look wonderful in my rig so that I can look lovingly at it thru the acrylic side panel.:D Oh well, I owe myself a cold bath after that wonderful 2 minutes with this 'hottie'!:p :DQuote:
