i still like the banner idea, makes it look more professional or more fitting in a way...but the shark jumping outta the water is def pretty cool IMO

I like the integration of the folding@home logo. As much as I like the flying aspect of the third. The second seems most menacing.

Yeah I like the third one the best, you can read the text the easiest. Also, the shark illustrates what we're doing to the competition right now:)

I think we've come very close to the perfect picture. The right blend of terror and clarity of image. But I still feel there's a better picture out there, maybe. Don't get me wrong now; what we got in this thread is great. Thanks to mystif for a lot of hard work but I really want a logo which will endure. Again lets give it a few more days and then we'll close the voting and see where we are.
EDIT in two or three days we should probably make a new poll with the top two or three finalists
It also looks like it has a line (fishing line) coming from its mouth (or it's a imperfection in the photo). I still think number 7 on the poll and number three of the new banners will endure the best, but by all means keep looking because the photos you have found so far a great.Quote:

My vote goes to this one. I like way it's breaching straight up... kinda like the direction the team's heading now.:) It also reminds me of the original Jaws poster with shark heading up from the deep to the poor girl on the surface.Quote:
