heh, well now i've got a deal going with a certain, well-known phase change unit-builder in which he gets my video card and goes for #1 3d01 and i get a nice new custom phase change unit... sounds good to me :) especially since i was considering SLI anyway, this just makes it an easier decision.Quote:

PC ICE? hope you get some nice temps cause once you go phase change you'll always shoot for colder temps ;) hoping for some -60C loaded by this christmas

I had so many ideas and things I wanted to do to my PC. But in the end i just gave up. The thrill of that new high score is just not there anymore. :(
But very nice. I am more on the simple end atm. I gave my PELT/WATER setup to a friend of mine who wanted it. So I am purely air. Its not like I ever used the damn thing (well once).

To be honest, the peltier results were not as great as i wanted... they were very good idle but at load it wasn't nearly as impressive.
well, it's on to phase change. I hope your friend is happily enjoying that pelt setup :)
Now that should be a nice phase changer! I like what PC ICE is doing with the vapo mounting kits.
...so what did your pelt do with loads?
it gets as high as 25C with 2v after several minutes. It jumps to about 5C and then just slowly climbs to about 20. Not good...Quote:

anyway, the first test of the PC ICE unit will be taking #1 overall with a radeon 9100 :) seeing as i don't have any other video cards right now :p
