no not really...it was really just a coincidence that these two events happend on almost the same day...I always wanted to get a server so I always had a place to play with settings and maps that I liked...at first I really wanted to do a server that was just pure custom assault maps...no stock maps at all...but really after working with assault for so long while doing my map I migrated to other gametypes...now I just go to gametype to gametype...not really playing a single one for too long so I just made it a multi-type gametype server...

I was on for a little yesterday playing Urban ONS or something... Somebody came on for a sec and saw me destoying the competition, and left like in 2 mins... then I was alone on the server again. Xfire...what's that..oh yeah...I still got that...See ya'll soon.

Wait so you were alone playing against bots?

Right now if nobody is on the server it is just empty and you are alone.

I assume what he is saying he is going to do is say he will put 6 bots in and when a player joinsit will remove one of the bots. So 5 bots one person and if another joins 2 people 4 bots and so on.

I added 4 bots last night...when someone joins then a bot leaves...I gotta adjust difficulty settings though as I think they're on the lowest skill level

Man if your pings are 100+ in the states, i can only imagine what mine will be...

Will have to install ut2k4 again, but its all the way on the other side of my room, and im so sick... so its a no go for now.

Yeah I was on for about 5 mins when there were a few people on the server and my ping was over 100.

I can get it moved to a different data center for free if needed...either that or maybe I can get them to fix it...I'm gonna wait a little though...sometimes my ping can be in the 40-60s while sometimes it can be into the 100s even though I'm like 3 hours away

I was getting an average of 100 ping, and I got a few bad lagspikes, but nothing horrible.

I was on only for a very short time and only looked becaue I noticed some weird stuff going on with timing and such. I'll check again next time I go on might have just been a bad time.

I'm getting between 110 and 140, but the game I played didn't seem to laggy, and no one seemed to have a clear ping advantage. Awesome round BTW. LOL!

that was pretty fun...though I noted a bit of lag myself especally in dria...some projectiles didn't shot up...especally with the goliath...I'm gonna adjust some ini settings and if that doesn't help then I'll e-mail them and see if they can fix it...even being 3 hours away I had a 120+ ping

I was in only a little while maybe 20 mins on ONS dawn and had a ping 120+ as well it was a little frustrating, but fun non the less.

lol...they can get a teamspeak server up upon request...it's free too so I'll go ahead and do that

btw...does anyone request any maps? I got cbp2 volume 2 up now...I'm putting volume 1 up now while I'm at school...hope it doesn't lag it though
