But yeah, they are hardcore.
The only time I ever played the SvM Beta with a complete stranger and had a great game was with a German. He was awesome. I swear to god, the rest of the time I only came across solid-state noobs.
I am a German gamer:) well my passport says so but I am also half dutch - so fear me:D , the conflict of WW2 plays right inside me;), so I am grouchy and I just happen to love FPS games....Desert Combat, NAM, HL2 you name it, I play it hard.....but I am a fair player:), a german with nice playing etiquette is a hard thing to find, as I find a lot of german players quite annoying....hmm must be my dutch side;)
And that's just the women! :pQuote:

Whereabouts are you? Here in Edmonton, gaming is rather popular. I constantly overhear jockish folks make plans to get together and play sports games or multiplayer games like Double Dash. Afterwards, they go out and get drunk then come back and play more.Quote:

"Be careful Mr. Burns, we Germans are not all smiles and sunshine."
On pubs, there will be some german players that are quite disrespectful. However, at the ESL level, everyone is SUPER NICE.Quote:

Like for example, if you're 20 mins too late for a match, the other guys can just take a defwin.
Me and my partner were 1 hour late for a 2on2 once because we had forgotten about it. I ICQ'ed one of the opponents that I was really sorry, and he said that it didn't matter and that he would still love to play.
Damn nothing personal man, but I was so happy when Greece won. It was a beautiful goal though. At least your second, Bulgaria was last!Quote:

Anyway, about gaming in here.. most people that play games, usually play it on PC, and only the most world wide famous games. CS is probably the biggest one around here. Almost no one plays consoles though, they're too expensive for an ordinary person living in Bulgaria.
