I think it's nice to have one wireless controller, but my extras will probably be wired. Those battery costs add up, even if you just go with cheap AA rechargeables. And I'm not paying for a wired charger that should have been included with the controller.Quote:

Why are people saying the wireless adapter is 120? It is 99.
Okay, sell the overpriced 360 and get a PS3 and play... uhm... play... Resistance? That's it?
For me the 360 is a great value, since I don't need Wifi or HD movies. For someone like you that needs all that stuff, maybe you should have priced it out before buying.
I like how MS gave us the option to buy those things, not just shoved em down our throat. I wish they would offer a larger HD for sale though.
Yup, Wii costs when added up:Quote:

360 for me to get started was 400 (actually 275 since I bought it used.)
go buy a PS3 then and stop crying, you don't need wifi or wireless controllers - you think you do cause someone else has it, Mr. Jones will always have more stuff than you and always have better accessories for that stuff...go buy a PS3, throw the 360 in the trash - then come back and whine about how you know someone with a hot pink PS3 shell and you want one too but can't find it.

You can show me all the studies you want. Radiation causes cancer. Cell phones give off radiation. Cell phones likely have SOME negative effect. Putting a device that emits radiation next to your head can't possibly be good for you.Quote:

Still, I'd hardly put oxygen on the same level with a Razr.
I'm not saying that using a cell phone is going to give you cancer, but if you talk on a cell phone for two hours every day, for 20 years, and then you get a brain tumor...well, you shouldn't be able to sue Motorola for $50 million dollars.
Basically what I'm saying is, radiation is all around us. In fact we need radiation to survive (i.e. sunlight). Sunlight can also give you skin cancer. No study has yet shown a link between cellphone radiation and brain tumors and cellphones have been around for a long time. Statistically, this means you are at least a 1000 (if not a million) times more likely to die from skin cancer from being out in the sun than getting a brain tumor from a cellphone. I don't understand such aversion to cellphones, when there are so many other things out there that are much more likely to cause you harm.
Yeah TELL ME ABOUT IT!Quote:

btw: can i use the game cube controller to play virtual console stuff?
Nope..I think you need a virtual controller...and you have to buy wii points to buy virtual games. It hink its $20 for 2000.Quote:

Cell phones may have been around for a while, but it's only in the last 10 years where everyone has one, and people are using them for two hours a day, every day.
I tend to believe that anything which emits radiation is going to contribute to you getting cancer, including the sun. That's why I keep my geiger counter close to me at all times so I know exactly how much I'm getting.
hahaha. I have over 4,000 rollover mins this year alone, on a 400 min/month plan, that means I talk on average a little over 3 mins a day on my cell - the ones you have to worry about are the ones that drive and talk at the same time - they hit their brakes to answer the phone, then keep tapping their brakes with nothing/no one in front of them while going 17 miles per hour down the road, I am MORE than convinced that talking on a phone is equivilent to a .12 BAC, absolutely convinced, they should be banned while driving and california's new law that fines you $20 for talking on your phone is a joke, whats $20 to someone who can't live without a phone surgically attached to their ear?
