Incorrect. Extraction Point requires you to have the original game. The second expansion, Perseus Mandate, is the one that is standalone.

A full week from last Sunday through Saturday.

Apparently some are online, some aren't. ALL are available at B&M, though very rarely a price will differ on the local level from what is on the list.

Picked up 5 more games for about $37 today - Alien Shooter: Vengeance, Gothic 3, Company of Heroes, Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, and GRAW 2.

Sim City 4, LotR: BfME + sequel, and Empire at War + expansion are still on my radar.

I know I'll probably never play all these games, but for some reason I just don't care. :D I'm just glad my major vice in life is picking up 7 dollar video games I won't finish and not crack and expensive cars or something like that.

Sometimes it's just nice to say "I picked up XX games for x dollars". Look upon them and admire them, tell them they are good games, and you will be filled with glee.

Lol I know what you mean totally. I get so hyped up about a game. I run out and buy it. Keep staring at it in the passenger seat as I drive home. Get it inside. Take its cloths off. Check out its pamphlet. We start a little foreplay while I install it. Then we have some hardcore playing all night. Next day I forget about it and leave it on the shelf for years.

Funny that so many people are picking up Perseus Mandate. I had actually bought Extraction Point a few days ago, and intended to go get Perseus Mandate, but then I just thought "What the heck am I doing? I wasn't even in to the original F.E.A.R. enough to bother finishing it" and ended up returning Extraction Point today.

A case of "I can get that game for HOW little?" just about taking too much advantage over me.

I've never played any of the F.E.A.R games before, so this is my first trek into it.

My first impressions are rather grim. I just got out of the sewer part and am on my way to the rendezvous point.

This game so far is very very boring and the graphics which I thought would be amazing based on people's initial remarks, are very ... PS2-ish. I'm still trying to play through it though, we'll see if it gets any better.

I was able to get a few good games last night. To bad I couldn't find Star Wars Empire at War (Not Collection one) - $8.00 or $6.98 or $6.88, I need another copy. I also wanted Heroes of Might and Magic V - $7.50 but no luck. But some good prices.

Well, to be fair, the game DID come out in mid/late 2005, so it's coming on to 3 year old graphic technology here, which in PC gaming terms is a lifetime.

Perseus Mandate is nothing more than an expansion pack, it is not a sequel, and was never priced above $30. The same with Extraction Point.
The updates, especially graphical, in most expansion packs are usually minor, so there's nothing unusual about it, they're just milking the franchise for all they can get before the sequel.
