Don't know what you're complaining about, you can see blue sky and even the sun! That's a rarity for sure :)Quote:

For the wedding I mentioned above, the couple's parents came to Scotland for the first time and stayed the week but Scotland lived up to its reputation and was dark and wet the whole week - this is a picture taken from the same spot:

The bright sunny pictures were taken just a day after the relations went back home...at least I took a waterproof SLR, I'd decided against it the night before but changed my mind in the morning.
John
Freeeeeddddddooooooommmmmmm!!!!!!
He shoulda yelled "Caaaaaaaallllllllliiiiiiiiifffffffffoooooorrrrrrrrrnnnnnnii iiiiiaaaaaa!"
Yes John there were blue skies, but just before those shots were taken we were literally soaked to the skin. Little place where they sell food and drinks was so replete with humans trying to avoid the rain that I couldn't get in, so I just sat outside on a bench, in the rain. I also got a nice misty shot of the Devil's beeftub on the way up.
couple pics from a Yellowcard concert i went to at the House of Blues in Cleveland. also had Monty Are I, Sum 41 and Amber Pacific as well.

Excellent pics considering the lighting.
Agreed...very nice indeed. Most concert shots are washed out due to people trying to use the flash or blurry when no flash is used. (generally hard to take pics)
Dyne, what camera did you use and how far were you from the stage. (just curious)
i have the Canon S3 IS. optional lenses were not allowed. i actually have a shot from the balcony before the show that's a good judge of distance.i'll have to post it later. it's a pretty small but intimate venue. i love the place. i would say no more than 100-125'.

audi tt - in all her glory
All but the first and last were shot with my Centro camera phone. the first and last came out of a 6 year old olympus 1.3 megapixel digicam. this is why the quality is so terrible. :-)
I thought Petocen was motor oil? The red stuff looks like propylene glycol coolant. European cars are usually poorly though out when it comes to maintenance. They just don't put enough miles on their cars to be overly concerned about maintenance. Some years ago a friend of mine bought a flat 6 Porsche turbo. It had around 50k miles on it. The 60K service cost several thousand dollars. The engine had to come out before the timing belts could be replaced.
I owned a Porsche for 3 years, once ... The average speed was close to zero considering maintenance. Never again.
my TT is nothing but routine work. I love it anyhow. :)
Just few random photos I have uploaded on the web.

All of them were taken with a 20D, which is sadly collecting dust. :(
This snap shot was taken from my 10th floor hotel room in Monte Carlo. It was a hazy and overcast day.

i also have a couple of stitched panoramic shots from Deception Pass and Qwest Field. they're pretty big though. one is six pictures, the other is seven. i'll see if i can get them to look decent smaller and post them up.
Pwain, those pics are awesome quality! (very professional)
Cool pic dyne of Deception Pass. My bro & I went there this past summer. The road there is a pretty cool driving road. Chuckanut drive was a blast. (too short thought)
On a related note: A picture of Chuckanut Drive in Washington State.:D

Taken yesterday March 9th on my walk
https://www.sharkyforums.com/images/...2008/03/86.jpg
This is a shot of my Pup Scout, she's 8 months old and has absolutely ZERO fear. The full out run you see in here, is the same full out run she uses in thick brush...
In fact she's gotten a couple puncture wounds on her face from running into thorn bushes, and the one time she barrelled full speed into a barb wire fence. Neither incident has slowed her down in the slightest.
3 more from the same walk
First is some water lillies that are going to have a hard time this spring =)
2nd is a downed tree across the river
Third is My male buddy walking very gently on the edge of a river....the ice wasnt too stable where he was
Most of this area is inaccessible during the summer, its mostly flooded swamplands. Hopefully once it warms up a bit I'll get some pictures of my initial bird hunting training with scout...

Whow brilliant picture soupnazi. If you cropped off the bonnett of the car you'd have a moneymaking pic ...
I especially like the single golden leaf just right off centre. Although there is a thin stem behind it isnt all that visible and makes it look as if the leaf is frozen in mid air while tumbling down ...
recon, nice Brittany. my parents have had three so far. me and the girl we used to have were inseperable.
