working on building my home. you still on tim?
So...i can;t seem to find any thing like animals or creepers. Is this server set correctly?
EDIT: Found some pig and chickens, but nothing dies. 12 swings with a rock sword and nothing.
Multiplayer is very incomplete. There are no monsters and creatures cannot die (you can't die either). I can set a flag to enable monsters, but they do no damage and cannot be killed, so it is pointless. Furnaces are also a bit buggy.Quote:

I bought it. I messed around a bunch of times, starting out is kinda hard. I was trying to dig a shelter and get torches all before the first nightfall, and was doing things out of order. Then zombies and crap would mass attack me unprepaired and I would die. I am going to start again tonight, I think I have a pretty good idea now what to do.
First thing is to get wood and fashion a crafting table. Then make wooden picks and get some stone. Then make stone picks. That should be done within the first few minutes. You can then make a quick shelter in the side of the cliff. If you can get all that done, run around and look for coal to make torches for the night. The next day is looking for iron.Quote:

one of my homes has a sub-terrain water pool and a few lava pools.
Found some diamond and trying to find some more to craft some obsidian blocks.
I was hoping to create a home out of obsidian, and then have that as my primary home of awesomeness, complete with a man made water and lava pool.
Having some problems. Furnace will not work, how do you smelt iron? Playing alpha, single player in browser

I built more of my castle today. Its a castle on top that have a dungeon underneath and then there is a passage way that goes all the way to the bottom of the map where there is lava. Scary!!
