Thanks, I don't know the setting at all as I've stopped playing 3/3.5 right about the time it went on the shelves. It's all new to me.
Thankfully they're not like that. The GM is an old school RPGer and the group, while heavily into MMO, plays pen & paper for the very reason that it can do things an MMO can't do. However their MMO "roots" do show in their lingo and combat approach a lot.Quote:

All I know right now is that my character is a Cleric of Dol Dorn (I don't know who that is, we didn't have much time before the game so I've let the GM build the character). We're enlisted in Breland's army during a conflict with Mournland but the campaign seems based mostly on politics and corruption (at least the first session revolved around that, no battles so far).Quote:
