Cheddar Plax shot himself in the leg! you gotta be kidding me!
Yea that guy is going downhill fast. Hes no Pacman yet but if he continues what hes doing he will be. The Giants and the commish need to step in and curb him quick before theyre forced to do a long suspension and have a 2nd Pacman. The NFL doesnt need anymore of these club-hopping, heat packing, brawling black players. NBA can keep all of them, but keep em out of my football.
I've decided that being a Raiderfan makes you a better person. It builds character and prepares you for life. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it.
Jacksonville looks terrible, and Houston looks great. This is the first time I've watched either of these teams this year.
Well the Giants did the right thing. They suspended Plaxico for the rest of the regular season and put him on non-football injury reserve, so he cant play in the playoffs earlier.
Good move imo. He needs to get his act together big time. I hope he realizes it sooner than Pacman did.
So anyway how are are your fantasy teams doing? Mine is in 2nd place and is 9-4. Here is my current roster. I might need some advice as this is the 1st week of the playoffs I don't want to make any stupid moves.

Please note: I am not starting Romo this week don't even mention anything. Pittsburgh defense is going to tear him apart just like any they have all year.
My fantasy teams are doing great actually. One is first place at 11-2 and has clinched a playoff spot (only team to do so) and am a lock for the 1 seed. Im crushing everyone lol gonna be a miracle if I dont win it all.
I have Brees as my QB, the best 3-man receiver combo in the league (Fitzgerald, White, Jennings), Westbrook, Brown, Johnson, and DeAngelo Williams as my RB corps. Scaife and Carlson for TE, Bryant for K, and Pittsburghs awesome defense.
Other team started crappy, sitting at 9th/10th (of 10 teams) most of the season. But Ive been on a 4 game winning streak and is now 4th. I have to win or the 5th place guy has to lose and I get in the playoffs there too. I just beat the #1 team (was 10-2) this past week which made me feel good.
edit: Oh, and in the very last game of the season, as in the 2nd playoff game to determine the winner, I have Brees facing DETROIT WOOO! I have Lance Moore on my bench so Ill prolly toss him in there too and watch those 2 rack up like 70 points.
I can't believe that after a 1-15 season, and getting rid of their best player (Taylor) that the 'Phins are actually in contention for a playoff spot!
I looked at their remaining schedule and they have SF at Miami, at the Jets, and at the Chiefs. All three games are doable. Though I think that their game in NY the last game of the season will be the hardest.
Pennington... weak arm and all has been a nice addition. 12 TDs and 6 Ints. 66% pass completion. And 7th in the league at average gain/completion (weak arm be damned!). A HUGE upgrade over what they had last season.
I have no illusions about them winning the SB or anything, but it's much better than what I thought that I'd see at the beginning of the season.
I can't believe they are tied for 1st! My brother is ecstatic!
I think the Patriots will end up winning the division though, you can never count those dirty bastards out until its over.
Any one doing predictions from the beginning of the season are rolling in their graves now, Cowboys are sucking it up, Jax is nothing, Chargers are falling apart, Seattle... give me a break! Atlanta, Tampa, Carolina, Miami, NYJ, AZ!!!
Who says there is no parity in the NFL?
as a cowboys fan and a texas alum.. i am hurtung very much right now =(
Me too :(
Poor cowboys,
Might be nice to get a top 5 pick for once....
Don't detroitify it!
I'm no detroit fan! If thats what you are inferring.
I hear Detroit is going to draft Crabtree this year
Why would Detroit draft a wr??:p
Despite our terrible, terrible record this season I think Seattle's problems are mostly systematic--the roster just just plain better than this. Deion Branch even showed up to play yesterday!
If D takes Crabtree that's fine with me. Many Hawk fans think we're getting him, but I want a safe pick. One of those monster OT's should do nicely, Walter Jones won't be god forever. Wouldn't mind a safety to replace Brian Russell either, though that would be grounds for trading down.
A high draft pick is all I can get out of this typical Raider season. And WR is a definite need, but so is a OT and DT. Harris is like a turnstyle. And one reason for the 4th quarter fade is that the Raiders only carry 2 DT and they get tired at the end of games. I'm telling ya, being a Raiderfan builds character!!!!
THANK YOU Antonio Bryant! Thank you so much. My team was down about 12 points going into the game last night. Bryant was my only person left to get some points and he goes and gets 200 yards and a pair of TD's. Best part is. I just picked him up two weeks ago thinking he might to well. HAHAHHA Thank You!
That catch was AMAZING!
Had to know that TO wouldn't be able to control his mouth for long:

Throw in a few losses into the mix, and TO will go feral and need to be put down...Quote:
Report: Terrell Owens is unhappy with yet another quarterback
By Chris Chase
In an article that surprises absolutely no one (except maybe Jerry Jones), ESPN's Ed Werder reports that Terrell Owens is unhappy with Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. For his next column, Werder will detail the sun's plans to rise in the east tomorrow morning.
The gist of the piece is the standard "T.O. is unhappy with his quarterback" tale that we've read during Owens' days with Jeff Garcia and Donovan McNabb. The laundry list of grievances are the same: Romo is ignoring him, Romo is throwing more to the guys with whom he's more friendly, etc.
On the other side, the complaints that teammates have about Owens are identical to ones that were aired during his stints on other teams. Those antics include criticizing Romo in press conferences, demanding the ball and whining to coaches that he's overlooked.
While it's mostly boilerplate T.O., there are some fascinating nuggets in Werder's piece that touch on the tremendous insecurities of Owens. One of T.O.'s worries sounds like it's lifted from the diary of a 15-year-old girl:
Owens feels that Romo and Witten -- close friends and road roommates who came to Dallas in the same offseason -- hold private meetings in which they create plays the two will use in upcoming games without including Owens in the conversations, according to a source who speaks regularly with Owens' teammates. Owens believes these discussions have worked to his detriment as Romo seeks to deliver the ball to Witten regardless of whether Owens is open.
That doesn't even make any sense. Romo and Witten are drawing up plays on cocktail napkins and then using them in games, unbeknownst to offensive coordinator Jason Garrett and all the other guys on the team who have to run routes and block on said plays? This isn't the 1985 NBA All-Star Game. Does Owens really, honestly think Romo is freezing him out?
Say what you will about Romo (I do), but nobody has ever doubted his desire to win; unlike, say, Terrell Owens'. What's T.O.'s next complaint going to be, that Romo writes too much on Miles Austin's Facebook wall?
There's another part of the article in which a source claims that T.O. is trying to convince "guys who just got here" (Roy Williams and Sam Hurd) that they should turn against Romo. It plays into the "T.O. as locker room cancer" theory, but ignores the fact that Sam Hurd has been on the Cowboys for three years.
Either way, this is exactly what the Cowboys should have expected when they signed Owens three years ago. T.O. is an All-Pro talent with a bush-league attitude. The patience of the Cowboys is waning, which means that next year, the Terrell Owens circus might be playing elsewhere.
lol at TO we all saw it coming. And btw I just had another great pickup in my team. Pierre Thomas with New Orleans. He had 89 rushing and a TD and 56 receiving and another TD. I'm doing really well this year hehehehehe.
I mean, after the cowboys beat the giants TO was all happy again, and things were looking good.
Now they go and lose last night to the Ravens. TO wasn't the leading receiver, I forsee a bad week.
Not to mention the struggle to get into the playoffs now. The Boys have to win next week!!!!
Oh well, at least the Cardinals are in for at least one week, no matter how shittily they are playing now.
Im pretty sure the Cowboys are out of the playoffs. Carolina and Atlanta have already clinched the division/wild card. Only NFC spot left open is the NFC North since the Vikings lost.
