but Tbird seems to have fallen from the face of the earth - hopefully he'll be the Phoenix and rise in spectacular fashion!!
i am sure he is working hard on the 'secret weapon', probably hitting some minor technical difficulties, obviously.
baldy:D
i thought we already revealed his 'secret weapon' :D
I think he got his secret weapon and didnt know what to do with himself. Hopefuly he can harness all that power and get that 17,000 3dmarks he has been foreseeing!Quote:

So Colossus if you could please update this. Looks like my still #2 for AMD's and 4200's, darn Barton's. Perhaps I should try different drivers. When last I benched 40.72 were my best ones for my system. Anyone got recommendations on faster ones?
That's nothing I can actually run 220FSB but the agp tears a lot so I have to drop the ram speed by 16Mhz or so resulting in a slightly lower score at 220x11.5 = 14795 @ 311/583
BTW I did my own testing this is why I hate 3DMark two hours of pure drivers tests end result on my pc 40.72 is the fastest, faster than 42.01, 42.82, 42.86, 41.09, 43.45 and 44.03 BTW2, the order above is the rank of the rest of the drivers. In other words, 42.01 was second fastest and 44.03 was slowest of those tested. Of course the 45.23 is even slower than 44.03 at 3DMark. So my 15K attempt will definitely be done with 40.72. I know if I could complete 220x11.5 @ 315/599 like I did at 212x12 I'd nail 15K.
Which brings up BTW3, there does not seem to be this push over 3DMark03. Perhaps I'll re-run that and at least take my class lead.
3DM2003's no fun at all! :( It's all about raw VPU OC and very little else!:mad:Quote:

thats why u stick with 1 good driver and do 3dmark for half an hour instead of 2 ;) :pQuote:

mine can't even handle 205 fsb, 200 its stable, 202 sometimes it is :(
Shucks, I thought if I didn`t say anything I could stay in first place in my class for 2003 because of the lack of interrest. :D As far as the drivers I guess just because they work good on your system don`t mean they are the best drivers for someone elses system. Editto add: I tested mine on DX 8.1, I might install DX 9 and see how they do.Quote:
