I tend to agree, and would be happy to see it. If healthy, Philly and Seattle are both better, more balanced teams anyway. I'll homer it up a bit and predict those two in the nfc championship. (despite my overreation to Marcus Tubbs' injury;) )Quote:

omg COLTS! Such an awesome game last night... well, before halftime anyway. Colts ran away with it after that. I was afraid that Addai was injured but I knew he just had the wind knocked out of him (loss of residual volume in the alveoli!), and DAMN he looked really good. No more 2-3yd runs, but had some real big gains!

woa, so Culpepper could get cut?? Thats nuts. So then they would probably keep that 3rd guy what ever his name is. If he gets cut I hope the Lions go after him. Him or Leftwich or someone. We have one QB for all intents and purposes.Quote:

The Raiders have a great defense, however I think 2 receivers of the caliber the lions posess might be too much to handle, it's a good thing it's CJ's first real NFL game so he might be shaky.
CJ isn't a starter yet. Obviously he will be soon, but for now its Williams and Furrey. I think its going to be hard for the Lions to win this one, but as I've discovered no one knows a friggin thing.Quote:

I don't really know how the Lions did in the preseason, but I wouldn't think you would want to bring in a high level name like Leftwich or Culpepper. Kitna will do well, and if he goes down to injury or something I would almost rather just throw Stanton into the fire than bring in somebody else to start over him. If you bring him in to be the QB of the future, and an early 2nd round selection is the QB of the future, I wouldn't want to be bringing in a bunch of guys to bury him in the depth chart. Just personal opinion, of course; we saw what happened to Harrington when he was just thrown in, after all, so it might be good to try to sit Stanton all year to learn.Quote:

Doh, I lost my post. Anyway, urlacher is still a stud, he's only 29 and the best mlb in the league(ya not just the nfc.), and the brigg's crashing his car thing doesn't matter at all, he's still one of the best olb's in the nfc if not the league. The hawks better worry about the rams though, I don't expect the cardnials or the niners to cause problems if the seahawks play to their full potential. So worry about he reg season now and think about the post season when you actually make it there.
All I know is this sunday roy williams will be getting dominated by shockey, and he'll also be running away from bjack. SO enjoy the show :D
Eh, even last year the hawks swept the rams. Stephen Jackson is a real worry though; the seattle d-line is geared for (relative) speed and athleticism and a power runner like Jackson could have a huge day.
I won't completely discount any division rivals though, everyone is improved and it's become a very competitive division all of a sudden.
