I got a few of them, that would run for a little while then it would stop and say it could not continue and it would download another WU and so on and so on. Have you checked your log files.Quote:

also, if you were running for a while where your systems were having trouble accessing the F@H servers, you'll get a lot of units turned in at once as soon as they can access the servers, which would also give you skewed numbers like that.Quote:

any word on whether the tinker's point values have been raised? BTW, i still haven't gotten any..;) :D
I'm also at 207x11.5(need 1.93vcore actual :( ) up from 11.5x200 for 24/7 folding, i really want to catch schultz. Temps are staying between 46C and 51C...so i guess it's acceptable. Conquer on!:D

Keep up on the Folding team!
Are you folding for us or visiting from another team?
Folding for Sharky Forums.
Started about December 12 or something to that date. I'm in place 33 right now, right behind Jambaa.
Good to have you on the team. You'll be passing me pretty soon. :)
Haven't heard anything yet.Quote:

Doh! I got 4 on two machines this morning -- two on each of my HT P4s!Quote:

Damn my production sucks now... I need to get all my machines back online. :)
I picked up 3 of those 70.7 point Gromacs...
It will take quite some time to finish on a HT setup... Around 24 hours since the HT setup is running (2) console version both processing the same WU...
good news guys...straight from the front, i present to you a beta-core that is supposed to deal with the problem of AMD systems. They mention it locking systems up but i thought peeps were just dropping wu's?? Well, here's the d/l link. link
I guess if you don't need it now, they say your core will automatically update sometime in the near future.:D
That is all interesting. I have 3 intel systems and 1 amd system folding. I don't have any problems with it sending work units in. As of right now my 2500+ isn't overclocked. Are anyone of you who have these problems have your cpu overclock?
i know some people here have had some problems, i personally think all my dropped wu's are because of overclocking a step too high.Quote:

i've always had my 2500+ at 2.18ghz on stock volts and it's been just fine with folding@home, i would imagine you could get yours around there with no extra voltage and it would be stableQuote:

who started/created SETI?
I am not going to leave Sharky, simply because I love this forum... but I have to admit, I feel akward being a Berkeley student and supporting a standford operation. (Yet, in the whole scope of things, knowing that it is for the greater good, I put my pety hesitations aside:D )
But I heard rumor that seti start at Berkeley; is that true?
I would have it running at 3200+ speeds(2.2ghz), but my memory is pc2700 so it will not run very stable. Earlier I had it running at 2.2ghz with my memory overclocked to speeds of pc3200. I ran prime95 and folding@home for 14 hours without any errors. Then I played Call of Duty for 2 hours and my computer shutdown. So I had to go back to original speeds(1.83). In the future when I get some faster memory speed(pc3200 or even higher) then I'll have if run at speeds 2.2 ghz and even high. Man that would make a nice folding machine. I would probably give me like an extra 80ppw.Quote:
