mikeysg , you could probably break 21 if u reinstalled windows and benched with DX 8.1 and did soem mroe tweaks

hit 20200 with my 9700 pro, i believe its the highest with that card :-)

i upped the fsb to 265, now running at 3.71. also upped the video memory to 350. everything else is the same. this setup so far is completely stable, i played battlefield like this for 2 hours today.
i still have room for more fsb i think. i just need to wait until my sp94 comes. and ramsinks for my video card, and maybe i can get 21000 on 9700pro?

btw, my next upgrade i think is going to be twin raptors in raid. i know it helps a lot to improve load times on games, but would it improve 3dmark scores at all? i am guessing on a tiny bit.

i didn't think so, but i want them anyway. i was just wondering if it effected scores for whatever reason.
I agree with eshbach, I've not heard of anyone who've improved their 3DMark scores simply by using raptors - although PCMark will show an improvement I believe.;) Regardless, the load time between game levels will definitely improve....;)Quote:

seems 3dmark2003 heats up my card pretty bad and the case temp is 80F so thats not good:(
Just remove the side panel, switch on the a/c and have a fan blowing at it while OCing, that should help with temp.:)Quote:

i just have a few nice big fans out of some old SUN boxes, i made some ducting and it works really well.
well the X800s are out tomorrow i tihnk so no point since i'll only be top 5 for like a day

Top 5 for a few days is better than not ever being in the Top 5. ;) I was the 3rd Shark to break 20k, but it lasted for a short while before I was trampled on by others.:( Still, for me, the thrill of breaking 20k and being the 3rd Shark to do it was reward enough.;) Go for it!:DQuote:
