^ this.
The ATI driver complaint has been irrelevant for about 8 years. I've had the same amount of problems with Nvidia as ATI.

I go for bang for the buck, ATI holds that crown. It can change though, I'd prefer Nvidia though...
Yeah, I'd like some more maps.
Has there been any new word on Battlefield 3 yet? The last I heard was that it was due by the end of DICE's fiscal 2010 (eg March 2011) and that's it. I've also heard that it is PC exclusive and supports 80 players on certain maps.
I'm hoping that they bring back the more diverse class structure of BF2/2142 with BF3. I like Bad Company 2 and all, but it's not nearly as hardcore as Battlefield 2.
Really? I think it took me about two days (not actual play time) to start getting new guns. That was when I first started with the Assault Class, it's been less for other classes.
I can't imagine anyone preferring the stale, scripted single player campaign to the awesomeness of the multi-player. Battlefield is a multi-player game, their is only a single player component so that it can be sold on consoles.
yeah, a lot of peeps say that as well. I'm hooked on MW2 multiplayer. Going to BC2 multi seems kinda lame for me.
My new vid card is waiting for me at the post office after work today.
I'll install it and play BC2 multi again. :)
Generally speaking the next upgrade in weapons is 3,000-4,000 points? I generally score anywhere from 1,500 to 2,000 points a round which means in 2-3 rounds I generally have upgraded weapons.
Although the Recon class is proving to be a challange.
I never really cared for Call of Duty. The game makes targeting way too easy.
MW2 - snap targeting, kill streaks, run 'n' gun
BC2 - aiming, teamwork, pacing
Upgraded weapons are usually around 8-10k if I remember. The only weapon I don't have unlocked is the Barrett because I don't like sniping. When I play Recon it's on Arica Harbor or Winter Pass with the Saiga-20/USAS-12. I defend the control points or I flank the main attack throwing motion sensors and gun people down with buckshot.
The trick used to be and I don't know if it still works is to select the Recon class. Wait there is more ;).
As the recon class if you pick up other kits, you still get points as the recon class. This way you could spawn as recon and grab an assault kit, but still rack up points for recon.
Ah ok :)
Well on the right maps I do ok as the recon. The other duy on Arica Harbor I found an awesome sniping spot (I got 12 kills a crap ton of spot assist, and kill assist, and never died)
My biggest issue though is getting ammo sometimes.
I've unlocked everything and haven't played much since. Everytime I try to play I end up with disconnects and long updating stats or whatever..friends list is borked, so i've been playing the crap out of DoD:S to get my fps fix LOL...had the game for years and have never really played it.
you can also use the spot key to ask a teammate for ammo or health
Thank you :)Quote:
I tend to play as Assault and I always drop an ammo box on a sniper if I see one. YOU'RE WELCOME.
I've scored probably 90% of my recon points with the USAS-12, I have north of 300 kills with it. My main maps for playing as a 12-gauge sniper are Arica Harbor and White Pass. You can also get tons of points with the motion mine, that thing really helps you and everyone around you. The motion mine has to be the most underrated and under utilized feature of the recon class. I rarely hear the things beeping running through a map, it's even more rare that I see a team member use them.
When playing recon on other maps, I generally use the T88 with a 4x scope. It's very similar to playing assault with an M14 except you have a good sight and a more powerful weapon.
I mostly find myself fooling around with the destructible buildings...
Dunno guess the novelty still hasn't worn off...
I usually end up 1-15 :p
