Are you just trying to do the core mod?
That one is easy. One wire just goes to the "post" like in the pic, and the other goes simply to a solder point on the board. It's just a dab of solder. Actually theres 4 of them in a row and looking at the board from the same angle as the pic, it's the one on the left.

It's actually called a bong!:) But they only drop the water a few degrees. Not like ice. Ice is addicting, honest to god it's like a drug, when you run out, you start fiending for it and thinking how you can get more. I was like "BABE BRING ME ALL THE ICE THATS IN THE FREEZER NOW!! I'M ALMOST OUT!" Then you start contemplating how you can get more. I almost wen to the store again tonight.
It sounds crazy but serioulsy, you should try it, it's actually a lot of fun.:)

We all make mistakes :)
Pyro~~PSU mod
1. Take off case of PSU
2. Remove Rear exhaust fan
3. Look on the board right by exhaust fan. I actually stuck my solder iron through the exhaust fan hole to solder.
4. Look for the resistor marked on the board by R73. It's a regular resistor that is directly in front of a 3 legged black capacitor something. It is most definitely labeled R73.
5. Clip out the R73 resistor being careful to leave enough on the board to solder wires too.
6. Solder 1 wire to each point where the resistor was so you have 2 wires coming off the board.
7. Run these wires out the PSU through a vent slot.
8. Measure the resistance of the resistor you cut out of the PSU, the R73 resistor.
9. Take a 10K pot and set it to the same value as the resistor.
10. Solder the pot to the 2 lines.
11. Close everything up.
Thats it! Now all you have to do is power the PSU up UNHOOKED from your PC and take a multi meter and check your voltage. Simply turn the 10K pot to get more or less voltage. When you turn the pot, this will adjust BOTH your 12V and 5V rails at the same time. 3.3V will be untouched. After setting it to what you want and verifying it works, hook it up in your PC. Then turn your PC on and measure your rails and then simply adjust so that you rails are exactly where you want them to be with the PC on.
It's really not hard at all.:):)
Thanks buddy. I will do it when I have the time. Hey I got a ? about the fans on the PSU. The fan on the backside of the PSU (with the power cable plugin) is never on. Theres a little sticker above it that says "This fan controlled by M/B". Though their are no settings within my BIOS to kick on this fan. Is the fan dead?
Nope. There is a fan header cable that comes out of the PSU with the rest of the cables. YOu have to hook this up to a fan header on your Mobo to give it power.

Yes I will. After you click "Geforce 4 Ti's". You'll be located to another page with all separate Geforce 4 Ti classes. Then you click your class and your be directed to the 3dmark scores.Quote:

I got 1420, for what it's worth. But it's definitely a slide show, getting down below 1fps in Mother Nature. Gotta love that!
