Compare 3DMark2001 scores

Ok. When I say I get almost 3400 with this setup (Radeon @ 195/195 and TBird @ 6x150 = 900), I mean I don't do any additional funny things.

This is how I run on a day to day basis. I don't go through and turn off my background image or set my monitor refresh to some specific number (my monitor's too old, actually, to even have that feature, https://www.sharkyforums.com/images/.../2005/06/4.gif), or cross my eyes while the dragon test runs, or hop on one foot during the bump-mapping tests. I have everything tweaked through Humus' tweaker, and thats how I run. Day-in-day-out. I like the picture quality over FPS, so some things I leave on. 32-bit Z-buffer, most notably. I leave that setting as default on my card, so it runs the "default" benchmark that way. I've run it with Z16, but its not that much difference, I've noticed. So, I leave Z32 on.

Now, when I get some new cooling, I'm hoping my TBird will get over 1Ghz. If that happens, I'll definately run 3DMark2001 again. Its been almost 4 months since I did it last.

...Ok ok, maybe 150mhz FSB isn't all that great anymore, but I had the first chipset to be able to handle 133mhz FSB, and I was one of the first generation to be able to hit 150mhz. I used to be a contender...

2486 on a geforce256 DDR (Hercules) without tweaking/overclocking. Mipmpap at best quality, aniso on, and all goodies turned on except anti-aliasing.

What OS?

With my GeForce 2 Ultra overclocked and my CPU overclocked (Athlon 1.1 @ 1.3 (12x108)) on a Asus A7V I just ran an artifact filled 4802. This is with the 23.11s in Windows XP. Is this a decent score for my year old system? I'm sorry I've been out of the loop for awhile and I decided to format everything and reinstal after my replacement Athlon arrived.

I just looked at MadOnion and I have the third highest score total for an Athlon system under 1320 MHz (basically any 1300 MHz class non Palomino CPU). I'm not sure what the two guys above me are running as far as cooling etc., but I was just using a table fan with the side off on low. The guys above me got scores of 4949 and 5098. Could this be attributed to these guys using either KT133a systems (as opposed to my KT133 rig) and using a more 3DMark freindly OS like Windows 98?

EDIT: I just answered my own question. The other two guys above me both have 133 (233 DDR) FSB boards running at 145 compared to my 108.

I'm really surprised, that would mean that I have the best score ever for a GeForce 2 Ultra at default settings with a 100 FSB motherboard under 1333 MHz. The system is air cooled at that and I ran it in Windows XP. https://www.sharkyforums.com/images/.../2005/06/5.gif
