i'm gonna need some beefier cooling i'm thinking a bonneville heatercore with 4 150CFM Deltas on a fan controller with a 226 watt pelt and a meanwell PSU powering it. Its either that or some Klipsch Promedia Ultras

The performance difference between Cas 2 and 2.5 isn't really that much so my ram timings aren't that bad for 240hz fsb i guess.

Damn! Those mobile cpus can really be OCed!:eek: >2.6ghz!:eek: My XP2800+ Barton couldn't go past 222x11=2442mhz, anything more than this and my rig crashed.:( Nice OC.;)

I just removed the shim on my 9800 and i don't see any gains in overclocking :confused: :confused: :confused:

That was pretty much a necessity with the 9700's, the die was a hair below the shim. The 9800's seem to have that issue resolved so in most cases it isn't necessary and won't give you any benefit. Still, it never hurts to try something new. :)

Semi OT, vertices, is 535 the stock clock on your card? If it is then that is the difference between PE and non-PE XT's. I've seen where the XT should be 520.
