I love watching Dallas in December.
Can't blame this one on him. He threw for almost 400 yards and 3 TD's, no turnovers.
The whole team played bad. The punt return was the clincher.
But now that they lost the first game they played in December, it should be fun to watch them from here on out.
Eagles, meanwhile are 29-13 under Reid in December and January.
Yeah Marion Barber netted me 2.3 points today in our league. One of you two should trade me a RB plz...
Behhhhh.:(
Hate to say it but Zona was really on tonight. Made the Vikes look really bad on both sides of the ball. I don't know how Warner keeps playing like this.
Miami is still in the hunt!
:)
I think that Romo hasn't shown the ability to win the "big game" yet. But I wouldn't say "never". A few years ago, people here were saying the exact same thing about Eli Manning.
It's also possible to win in the NFL with a great team and a not so great QB. The Reskins won with Mark Rypien, and the Ravens won with even worse... Trent Dilfer.
And I'm not trying to compare the supporting cast on the Cowboys to either of those two great teams. I don't think that this Cowboys team compares. I'm just pointing out that championships have been won with average QBs or worse. And I consider Romo to be better than average.
I wouldn't write him off just yet.
They need a new coaching staff. This includes the "great" Jason Garret, who I cannot understand how he is considered a good offensive coach. however, odds are Wade is fired if they do nothing and Garret is made head coach. With the talent they have there is no reason why they should not have won one a playoff game by now.
Chad Ochocinco now going to become Chad Hachi Go.

HAH I love that guy.
Love it. I bet sports tv personalities enjoy keeping up with his name changes as well. He could change his name to Chad Okily Dokily and Howie Long would be forced to say it with a straight face.
Who says it's a no fun league?:D
I cannot believe that the Colts just beat the Broncos. Other than the first 10 mins of that game the Broncos completely dominated that game but just couldn't score. Wow. What a game.
Desean Jackson is absolutely amazing. 7 TDs of 50 yards or more.
Edit: 8 now and counting
By the looks of the score, that Giants-Eagles game looked pretty exciting.
Eh, both teams defenses weren't playing very well tonight. Hence the high scores.
yeah...poor coverage and poor tackling all around.
Difference is the this was easily the worst the Eagles D has played all year, while the Giants D has been playing this way for a couple months.
I think, and hope, it was the result of 2-3 guys coming back on defense that have not played in like a month and was more rust than anything.
I did some math. Last nights numbers for Jackson:
8 touches
261 Total yards
2 TDs
32.6 yards per play
1 very large chest bump with Reid

Look at Reid walking away with pimp like swagger from that one.
That probably has to be the case with any high scoring game.
People who only enjoy stiffling defensive play are probably not happy with those games.
I personally can appreciate a stiffling defense, or an unstoppable offense. That's one of the things that is so great about football... there are so many variety of games that one can appreciate and enjoy.
For example, I used to LOVE watching Lions games ONLY to see what Barry Sanders would do.
Giants defense was bad, but turnovers made it even worse. Special teams sucked on that punt return when they had desean on the sideline. Only good thing about the d was they stopped the run, but between missing philips and johnson at safety and no pass rush means there is no reason for teams to run. The giants always give up the middle of the field, but now it's just ridiculous.
The thing I'm looking forward to is seeing the young receivers next season. Nicks looks like a stud in the making, and manningham is doing very well too, they jut need some time for their game to mature. I wish spagnuolo was still around to help with the D, he did a good job getting the most out of what he had
