1) It is just fine to have multiple computers folding under the same name.
2) Time to complete a WU varies widely, even on a single CPU. Could be anywhere from a few hours to a few days per WU. In most cases, you get points proportional to the "difficulty" of the work unit.

Ok one more. Can I pause without loosing the work that it has done?

Yes, the F@H software does checkpoints along the way.

yeah, you can even quit out of it and you'll only lose a few minutes worth. You can actually set how long of an interval between saving work. Just right click the icon in the system tray, go to configure, and then to the advanced tab. It's called "checkpointing frequency". :D

I've been doing Seti for a while, but have also been moving around quite a bit in the last few months. Now that I am more or less settled for the foreseeable future, I figured it was finally time to join Sharky's team. Too bad you guys don't do both. :D

Wow, I just got my first non Tinker today. That mean that 1 out of 6 PC's finally got a non-Tinker after 2 weeks.
