Saying that black QBs are under more pressure is an excuse. No one gives a crap what race a qb is, they only care about if they are good or not. I've never heard anyone say anything about a qb's race when talking about how good or bad they are. This isn't the 1960's.
Drew Bennett... like the only white boy WR, oh and wes welker, but he is the man, wheres Ed Mcaffrey when you need him?
what white boys run the ball? the black guys have all the moves, or like Artie Lange says, an extra bone in the ankle... either way, no white guys really run the ball on any consistent basis
I can't think of any hb's, though there have been white fullbacks in the modern era. Alstott and Moose Johnston, for example.
I think this whole race thing is stupid. I don't pick my fantasy players based on race. I'm sure teams don't either. They want winners. Now with that said, what's up w/ only ONE asian in the whole league?!! :p

Around 1999, Gear magazine (men's magazine... kinda like Maxim) had an excellent article on this. At least at that point in time, no white person had ever run the 100 meter in under 10 seconds... and moreso than even that, no NON BLACK had ever run the 100 meter in under 10 seconds.
That to me is a pretty telling statistic.
And if you ever look at who wins marathons... it's almost always some person from Kenya or Ethiopia. And it's not by coincidence. They have the proper genetics for it.
Everyone else falls somewhere in between the blacks from west, and east africa. Which doesn't allow for many winning of 100 meter sprints or marathons.

Maybe this activity isn't really suited for either fast or slow twitch muscle fibers? But more of a middle ground mix?
Or there could be socio-economical reasons here.
What I have noticed personally... and I have no idea if this is true or not... that the black people that I know either don't care for swimming or can't even swim at all. Anyone else notice this?
And I had a conversation with an ex a long time ago that turned sour. But I pointed out to her this phenomona about blacks running... in the sprinting, the difference between the top white and black sprinters are tenths... and even hundreths of seconds. It is small... but measureable. I told her that because of this, that I thought that blacks were superior physically to any other race (a broad generalization yes... and you will almost always find exceptions).
And if this were true... is it possible that other races have other things that they are a shade better at naturally than others?
Could asians be better at math than anyone else?
Coudl white people be better with language skills?
Some of this stuff has little measuring sticks to gauge people by... but I can't help but wonder... if blacks are superior in running... empirically than everyone else... is there other areas that these facts remains as well?
This is kind of a dangerous arguement I realize... people can (and will) make a case for Eugenics with this data. But still... if it's a scientifically fact... shouldn't we recognize it?
I'll finish up here by saying that it's not my intention to be... or even sound racist at all... I just think that some of the evidence is impossible to ignore.
I think the lack of swimming pools in these countries has something to do with the lack of swimmers. A olympic sized pool with lanes and such is very expensive and most of the african countried are poor and underdeveloped. I remember Tim Duncan was actually training to be a swimmer, but the only pool was destroyed in a hurricane so he started playing basketball (before someone points it out, I know Duncan is from the Virgin Islands, just using this example to show that the proper enviroment is needed in order to train for an athletic activity, swimming for example you kinda need a pool).
Its probably the same way for Hockey, ice time for a hockey team is expensive, most minorities cannot afford to do it.
