I can remember one or two seasons where Deuce wasn't hurt. I remember when Aaron Stecker was a big fantasy pick up because Deuce went out for the year.
If "dumb Andy" gameplans to abandon the run again, they will probably lose. If "smart Andy" can stick to running the ball, the Eagles should win. It's tough to cheer for a team with a bipolar coach.Quote:

Lots of people lose a season from an ACL tear... I just feel bad for this guy because two happened in fairly quick succession.
Reggie Bush is money anyways. We'll see how he does without Deuce.
New Orleans is struggling right now... but I think that Bush will end up individually having good stats come the end of the year. I think that he's the real deal.Quote:

Looks like Grossman is gonna be on the back burner for awhile, eh?
Well until Bush learns to run between the tackles instead of going sideways, he'll be an "almost" stud rb.
Most of the really good runs that I've seen Bush run has been outside the tackles... but I've also seen him have good ones in between the tackles as well. So I disagree here.Quote:

His blocking? Not sure that I've seen that part of his game yet.
I don't think that's a fair assessment.
I think the criticism of bush is he hesitates too much sometimes instead of just hitting the hole. The nfl is too fast for that
His less then stellar numbers would suggest otherwise.Quote:

If you are talking career, last year his numbers were decent for a part time back. Like 550 yards running with only a 3.6 yard per carry average but also 750 yards recieving... not too bad for a player who shared the position.
So personally, I wouldn't make any knee jerk judgements about a player that has produced some in his limited career... oozes potential... and is now the only real featured back that New Orleans has.
Time will tell. You may be right, but I don't think so.

Tomlinson has already proven he is a great player, he gets the benefit of the doubt that I am not ready to give Bush.
Also he averaged 2.6 yards a carry when running up the middle last year. Thats not gonna get it done as an every down back.
