...and yet you still roll a 20 and hit people with "Wall of Text" for 47 damage. Amazing! :p
Finished James Bond Bloodstone last night. Gamespot gave this a 7.5 rating which for them I guess is pretty good. I liked it at least that much and a little more. I did not play any multiplayer - just single. It was nice in that Daniel Craig and Judy Dench lended their voices to the game to make it a more believable experience. The story was typical Bond; northing remarkable, just good. It plays from a 3rd person perspective and reminds me very much of Gears. It has an excellent cover system that even allows you to stay covered when going around corners. Takedowns and being stealthy are part of the game if you want them to be. There is one boat driving section and four (I think) different driving sections during which you will of course be in an Aston.
On the whole, this is a solid game. It's fairly mindless - maybe not so much as Gears mindless, but still nothing that will tax your brain. This is a much, much better game than Quantum of Solace. I really enjoyed it. 4.25/5
I think I'm playing Singularity next.
Finished Singularity today. It was okay for the most part. It was kind of a mix of Bioshock meets Half Life 2 meets standard, generic FPS with red exploding barrels. It wasn't terrible by any stretch of the imagination and had some very interesting ways in which to use the time gimmick. I would say play it if you have a chance. It's not a top-tier game like CoD or Skyrim, but for a lazy sunday it's perfect. 3.5/5
Up next...maybe Alan Wake; not sure.
L.A. Noire
7.5/10
+Awesome facial tech
+Good period piece
+Soundtrack
-Doesn't run that great
-Lulls bigtime in Homicide cases
-Too long
It was fun however about 10 hours too long.
Either Batman:AC or Deus Ex: HR next.
Just reinstalled Fallout 2 and started playing. I forgot how slow it started. Trying to kill geckos with a spear is tough.
Just Beat: Batman Arkham City
Personal Score: 9.5 out of 10

Just finished the main storyline. What a game. Games like this are more than games, they're an art. That doesn't mean it's perfect, but everything it attempts is so well executed and crafted.
Between this and AA, I can't honestly say which game is "better". I thoroughly enjoyed the more open approach of "AC", but I think the story-telling and overall plot was a bit more engrossing in Asylum.
Either way, they're both superlative games and I enjoyed every minute.
I still have plenty of side quests and stuff to do, so I will definitely be picking this back up from time to time. But easily in the running for my Game of the Year 2011 based on the main campaign alone.

Up Next: Nearly done with Gears of War 3. Also still having a (neverending) blast in Skyrim.
Beyond those, it's looking like Dead Island, RAGE, Zelda Skyward Sword and Deus Ex Human Revolution are front runners. Also fooling around with Forza 4.
Hopefully I can knock at least another 2-3 games off my stack before my next game purchase.
Here's hoping anyway...
You owe it to yourself to play Alan Wake. Game is simply amazing!!
I dropped out of gaming for a couple weeks lol. Guess I can blame school. Played some BF3 last night and a little GoW3....but thats nothing new ;)
I got a Kinect recently and all the games prettty much blow. Family Adventures is pretty good though.
Skyrim.....honestly, I feel like I wanted a more epic story. I feel like im just wandering around FOR NO GOD DAMN REASON. Got 20 hours, havent even seen the greybeards yet and I think im just done. Anyone wanna trade my Skyrim for their Rayman Origins? (xbox) that would be mint ;)
You know what would be kinda cool? We should have an internal Sharky "gamefly" service with all the long time members. Just ship games to each other and circulate them within our little group. Would be pretty sweet imo. Whaddya guys think?
I asked Wurm about making a dedicated thread to this a couple years back and he said no. Doesn't mean we can't PM I suppose. :) What about that club thing we have on here? Couldn't we just use that? Where is that thing anyway?
Even if someone didn't want to do a straight up permanent swap, I'd still be willing to go rental as long as the other person is willing to do the same. Just say you have x amount of time to play...a month or so...then ship them back.
Edit: Found it; the ol' Sharky Playas page.
Can we self moderate for this, like whoever established the group or something. We would just need someone to maybe remove old lists, etc. Could we not use this as it's off the main forums?
Yeah I wasnt thinking trade permanetly, just kinda like a internal renting thingy haha. Would be pretty cool.
Just finished the RAAM'S Shadow DLC for Gears. It was pretty darn fun to play as RAAM and a super-mauler! For any Gears fans I highly recommend playing through it.
I would be open to the rental/borrow idea. I have a sizable amount of games that I don't play, but also don't want to go through the hassle of trading in.
I finally finished the story mode in Batman: Arkham City. I liked it, I'd put it on par with Arkham Asylum. I'm just going through side missions and Riddler challenges to try for 100%, although the combat and predator challenges are going to be a chore.
I've started playing Gears 3 again, mainly horde mode, but a friend and I still need to get the 4 player co-op and insane achievements :o
I'm also planning to finish up Deus Ex. I got sidetracked with all the holiday releases, but would like to finish it while it's still a bit fresh in my mind.
Just finished The Temple of Elemental Evil. Excellent combat system which kinda saves it and very well balanced character classes, everything else was pretty average. Very buggy as well. 6/10
ill do the 4p co-op with you guys. im working on hardcore though...not sure if your on my xbox friends list though-add me: DerSchniffles
So here are the games I have for "rent" lol: Skyrim, Fear 3, Rage (xbox). I would like to be "rented" Rayman Origins, Dead Island, Sonic Generations. Let me know via pm or here....we should start a new thread for this.
I'm down for 4-person coop on GOW
I have also been looking for more coop insane friends, and must have 4 people at the same time. I need acts 2-4 already finished the rest.
I'd be more interested in teaming up with the 4 of you to go online with TDM and pwn some noobs. :D
I played SPAZ. It is a fantastic game until the infected stuff showed up. Such a let down. It is about as bad as the flood in halo. I don't see why videogame developers feel they need to "mix it up" half way through the game by changing the gameplay so much that the entire game is different. I loved the large naval battles, but now I have to micro manage "infection" and tip toe around small bits of debris. Damn, I was really enjoying it too. :(
Finally finished Arkham City. Loved it! 9 of 10, maybe even a 10. Next up I'll probably go for Skyrim. I keep hearing about it and I'm dying to play it. I waited until I finished Arkham because I know Skyrim will suck me in and I won't play anything else for a long time.
Just Beat: Gears of War 3
Personal Score: 9.3 out of 10

Played through Co-op on Hardcore with my brother. Gears has been a staple of our co-op since '06. In many ways, I enjoyed the third the most. They seemed to focus on what makes the GoW series so goddamned enjoyable, especially in co-op: the amazing firefights and intensity. The core gameplay hasn't changed at all, but who cares when it's executed so flawlessly?
The shootouts with the Locusts, especially the Theron, are as manic and intense as ever. The chapter where they assault the base at night, with the sound turned up, my brother and and I sitting 4 feet from each other and still frantically yelling what we should do, and what our situation is, is puring gaming gold.
Like Halo, the gameplay is getting a tad long in the tooth, but it I really felt like Epic saved the best for last, and every section of the game was always downright fun. And the best parts were sheer genius.
Great game, great series.

Up Next:
Started RAGE. Been awhile since I've played an old-fashioned, linear FPS. Started out really slowly, but about 4 hours in, it's picking up a little. I'll probably play it through to the end. It doesn't seem like anything too stellar, but engaging enough for a mindless, straight-forward shooter.
Also still playing Skyrim, although not as much as before. Over 90 hours in...and I'm like 3 missions into the main quest, and a half dozen or so into some guild quests. I just love exploring. :)
After that, too many to choose from to say for sure, but I'm leaning towards something story-driven (JRPG, Zelda, Deus Ex?)
